Water-Slide Decal Paper Applied to Sports Helmet
HPS LLC manufactures and sells inkjet specialty decal papers such as the one shown in this demo video waterslide decal paper.

This demo video shows the use of water slide decal paper. Here the kid is applying decals to a white sport helmet.
This demo video was made in a workshop where few kid experimented with our water slide decal paper to make "cool" decorations for their sports helmet.
Any logos or trade names used in this video are the property of their prospective owners and were simply used here by a kid to decorate one helmet for individual use. Different kids used different logos or images they found on the internet.

To make decorative waterslide decals using our IAS paper, you must use our clear decal fixative or deal film forming aerosol. Using clear spray available in hardware stored my or MAY NOT give satisfactory results. Please call us for more information. |

Water slide Decal paper. To make CLEAR/TRANSPARENT decals: Apply a complete coating of either Papilio Aerosol Decal Fixative (ASCF) or Krylon Crystal Clear acrylic spray. Hold the can approximately one to two feet from the printed sheet. Allow the sheet 30 minutes - 1 hour to dry. Using either an Exacto knife or VERY sharp clean scissors cut your decals from the sheet, leaving a border of at least 1/4" of clear space around your design. Applying the decal. Dip your decal in warm water (not hot). the paper will roll up and then straighten out again. When the film starts to loosen from the paper, place the paper on the substrate to be decorated, and slide the paper out from under the decal. Work out air bubbles with the decal squeegee and let dry. It is important to remove all water and air from underneath the decal. DO NOT cut out the decal first and then apply the solution as the edges of the paper can absorb the liquid, making it impossible to later slide the decal off the paper.
