General Description:
With our PASZW White Bake-On Decal Paper you can make your waterslide decals much more durable by using a simple domestic oven to bake the decal media onto your substrate. Make ceramic mugs which are not only hand washable, but fairly dishwasher friendly. Print & apply your decals as normal, then put your finished item in your oven at 325 degrees F for 15 minutes. This will leave you with a water-slide decal more durable than ever before. Note: This specialty film will require some experimentation with your printer to achieve optimum results. Please keep in mind that you may use several sheets in testing before achieving the results you desire. For the bake-on process, do not use an oven or microwave used for food preparation.
Note: It is critically important when testing laser media for compatibility that you always print using a "Plain Paper" setting. Especially with this particular media, as too much heat can start the bake on process in the printer, creating brittle decals. Printing on a "Plain Paper" setting allows the printers fuser to stay at the lowest temperature setting, preventing the media from getting too hot and possibly separating from the liner. Always follow the instructions very carefully with any self-adhesive laser media.

Many of our customers enjoy using the bake on decal paper to create interesting ceramic items such as mugs, or decorative plates, either for their clients or family & friends. Our Bake-On Decal Paper can be used exactly as normal decal paper, but it works best when baked on to the substrate. Apply your Bake-On Decal to any item which can withstand the heat of the firing process. The white background of this media makes it ideal for use with darker colored items, something not possible with clear decal paper.

To make mounting decals a breeze (especially larger designs) use our Decal Mounting Fluid, this lubricates the surface of the substrate, preventing tearing and stretching. To remove air bubbles and wrinkles from your decals during application a Rubber Decal Squeegee is a must have tool.
